When God Doesn't Show Up On Your Timeline

Reading: John 11:1-7

Devotional: Mary and Martha sent word to Jesus: "The one you love is sick." They expected Him to drop everything and come immediately. Instead, Jesus stayed where He was for two more days. How confusing that must have been! Sometimes God's delays feel like denials, but they're actually divine appointments. Jesus wasn't being careless or unloving—He was positioning Himself for a greater miracle. When God doesn't respond according to your timeline, it doesn't mean He doesn't care. His silence isn't His absence. He's often preparing something beyond what you're asking for. Today, trust that God's timing is perfect, even when it doesn't make sense to you.

Reflection Question: What situation in your life feels like God is "late" in responding? Can you trust Him anyway?
