Catalyst Community Church is a dynamic church located in Gadsden, AL. Our beliefs are based on the Bible and centered on Jesus Christ. That means we’re not about a building or some complicated religious system, but about helping people from all backgrounds discover the joy that comes from knowing and serving Jesus Christ.

We invite you to come and check us out this weekend at one of our worship services. We know that going to a new church can be intimidating, so we try to do things in a way where you’ll feel welcome and not like an outsider. When you come, you can participate or just sit back and observe. You’ll discover a warm atmosphere, practical teaching from God's Word and lots of friendly people pursuing God together. And with kids church ages newborn to 5th grade, your family will love it too!

God made a promise in the Bible that if we seek after Him, we’ll find Him. You are a valued part of God’s creation and His deep desire is to be in a relationship with you. So come and join us as we pursue God together!

FAMILY

At Catalyst we value the family and we believe church should be a place for people of all ages. Every Sunday we provide children's ministries alongside our regular services, which provides a age-appropriate environment for kids to encounter Christ.

LEADERSHIP

Catalyst is guided by a leadership team of elders and pastors who provide overall direction and watch over the spiritual needs of the church. Our pastors provide sound, practical, biblical teaching and are equipped to share God's love with our local community.

Our beliefs

WE BELIEVE IN THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.

Jesus is the virgin born Son of God. He lived a sinless life in the flesh. Jesus was crucified on the cross and his blood was shed to pay the price of sin for all humanity. He was then laid to death in the tomb and rose from the dead on the third day. He later ascended to the right hand of the Father. Now, we expectantly wait for his return.

WE BELIEVE JESUS IS THE ONE AND ONLY WAY TO SALVATION.

Jesus said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” We are saved by faith through grace in Jesus Christ. Salvation is a gift from God and it is not a result of our good works.
(John 14:6, Ephesians 2:8-9)

WE BELIEVE IN ONE GOD EXPRESSED IN THREE PERSONS.

WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE IS ABSOLUTE TRUTH.

The Bible is God’s Word written by believers who were inspired and guided by the Holy Spirit and it determines all doctrinal beliefs.
(Isaiah 40:8, Matthew 24:35, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)

WE BELIEVE THE CHURCH IS A FAMILY OF BELIEVERS.

The Church is the Body of Christ and it's made up of people who have placed their faith in Jesus. It is a family of believers who exist to glorify God, fulfill the Great Commission, and make a real impact in the communities surrounding them. We believe being connected to a local church is an essential part of spiritual growth.
