Day 2: The Towel Over the Title
Reading: John 13:1-17; Mark 10:42-45
Devotional: Jesus, the King of Kings, wrapped a towel around his waist and washed dirty feet—including those of his betrayer. This wasn't weakness; it was the ultimate display of servant leadership. He chose the towel over the title, demonstrating that true greatness is measured by our willingness to serve, not by our position or platform. If the Savior of the world could kneel before those who would abandon and betray Him, surely we can serve people we disagree with, love those who don't love us back, and give without expecting return. The question isn't whether you're too small to lead; it's whether you're too proud to serve. Today, look for one opportunity to serve someone without recognition or reward. Choose the towel.
