The Posture of Your Heart Matters

Reading: John 11:28-37

Devotional: When Mary finally came to Jesus, she fell at His feet. Heartbroken, confused, grieving—yet she assumed the posture of worship. This is profound. Your circumstances don't dictate your posture before God. Mary could have stayed away in anger or bitterness, but instead she came to Jesus with the right heart position. Notice that Jesus didn't rush past her pain or correct her theology. He wept with her. God doesn't minimize your suffering or demand you "get over it" quickly. He enters into it with you. The key is maintaining a surrendered heart even when life doesn't make sense. At His feet is always the right place to be.
