Day 3: You Are More Than Your Failures

Reading: 2 Corinthians 5:17

Devotional: Paul does not say the old life gets patched up or slightly improved. He says it is gone. A new life has begun. That is not language of renovation. That is language of resurrection. The same God who raised Christ from the dead is the God who raises you out of the grave of your past. Your failures do not have the final word. Your worst moments do not define your future. Shame will try to remind you of who you used to be, but grace keeps pointing you toward who you are becoming. You are a new creation. Walk in that today with your head lifted.

Reflection: Is there a past failure you have never fully released to God? What would it look like to leave it at the cross today?

Practical Application: Write down one failure or regret that still has a hold on you. Physically set that paper aside as an act of surrender, and speak aloud: "That is not who I am anymore."
