Day 3: No Condemnation, No Hiding

Reading: Romans 8:1-4; Psalm 103:8-12

Devotional: Romans 8:1 is one of the most liberating declarations in all of Scripture. Paul makes clear that for those who are in Christ Jesus, condemnation has been removed entirely. This is not a license to treat sin carelessly. Sin is serious enough that it required the death of the Son of God. But once that payment was made, it was made completely. Psalm 103 describes God removing our sins as far as the east is from the west, a distance that has no measurable end. You were never meant to keep paying for what Jesus already paid for in full. Receiving that truth is not weakness. It is faith.

Personal Reflection: Are you still trying to pay for something Jesus already covered? How does carrying that weight affect how you see yourself and how you relate to God?

Practical Application: Memorize Romans 8:1. Each time a condemning thought rises up about a past failure, speak that verse aloud. Practice replacing the voice of condemnation with the truth of Scripture.
