Day 4: Scars That Tell a Victory Story
Reading: John 20:24-29; 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
Devotional: When Jesus appeared to Thomas in His resurrected body, He still carried the scars of the crucifixion. He was not the same Jesus who had walked the dusty roads of Galilee. He was resurrected, glorified, and new. Yet the scars remained. And here is the extraordinary thing: those scars were not evidence of defeat. They were the most powerful testimony of victory the world had ever seen. God does not always erase the marks left by what we have been through. But He transforms what they mean. The wound that once represented your lowest point can become the very thing that points others toward hope and healing.
Personal Reflection: What scars, whether physical, emotional, or relational, are you still trying to hide? How might God want to use them as evidence of His grace in your life?
Practical Application: Think of one person in your life who is walking through something you have already survived. Reach out to them this week. Let your experience become an encouragement to someone who needs to know there is a way through.
