Day 4: The Way, the Truth, and the Life

Reading: John 14:1-6

Devotional: Jesus spoke these comforting words when His disciples were troubled, confused, and facing the reality of His departure. Their world was about to be turned upside down. In their distress, Jesus offered Himself as the answer: "I am the way and the truth and the life."

This isn't narrow-mindedness; it's gracious clarity. God provided a sure way to reach Him—through Jesus. Like getting in a car because you believe it will take you home, saving faith means committing yourself entirely to Christ, trusting Him completely. Jesus isn't just showing us the way; He is the way. He unites us with God, making all the benefits of being God's child ours.

Reflection Question: Have you truly committed yourself to Jesus, or are you just believing about Him from a distance? What would full surrender look like today?

Prayer Focus: Thank God for providing Jesus as the certain path to relationship with Him.
