Day 3: The Holy Spirit Produces Fruit

Reading: Galatians 5:22-25

Devotional: Notice the first words: "The Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit." This isn't a checklist of behaviors you must achieve through self-effort. It's a description of what happens when God's Spirit lives in you. Love, joy, peace, patience—these aren't manufactured by willpower but cultivated through relationship. When you try to be patient in your own strength, you'll fail. But when you walk in step with the Spirit, patience grows naturally over time. The fruit doesn't appear overnight. Like an apple tree, there's a season of budding, growing, and maturing. Don't be discouraged if you don't see immediate change. The Spirit is working beneath the surface, producing transformation you can't yet see. Your part is to stay surrendered, allowing Him to do what only He can do.
