Day 4: Celebrating Progress Over Perfection

Reading: Proverbs 4:18; Philippians 1:6

Devotional: Dawn doesn't break all at once—it starts with a glimmer of light that gradually brightens until the full light of day. Your spiritual journey follows the same pattern. You may look at how far you still have to go and feel discouraged, but God invites you to also look back at how far you've come. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. Today, take time to remember who you were before Christ. What has changed? Where have you seen growth? Maybe you pray more, trust God differently, or love people better. That's evidence of God's faithfulness. Don't despise small beginnings or gradual progress. Celebrate that you're not where you were. Thank God for bringing you this far, and trust Him for the journey ahead.
