Worship as Warfare
Reading: 2 Chronicles 20:20-25
Devotional: Jehoshaphat made the most unconventional military decision in history: he sent the worship team to the front lines. While the enemy charged with weapons, Israel advanced with songs of praise. "Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever." This wasn't denial of danger; it was defiant faith. Worship in the midst of crisis is a powerful weapon that displaces anxiety because it shifts your focus from the size of your problem to the greatness of your God. When you lift your voice in praise despite your circumstances, you're declaring that God is bigger than what you're facing. The enemy is confused when he expects panic but encounters praise. As they sang, God fought for them—they never lifted a sword. Today, what if you chose to worship before you see the victory? What if your praise became the soundtrack to your breakthrough? Worship isn't just for when things are good; it's most powerful when things are hard.
