Day 3: Love Speaks Truth

Reading: Ephesians 4:14-16, Romans 12:9-10

Devotional: Silence is not always loving. If we truly believe sin destroys lives, we cannot pretend otherwise. Paul instructs us to "speak the truth in love," growing more like Christ. This means refusing to watch someone self-destruct without saying anything because we fear their anger. Real love warns and protects. Think of a parent disciplining a child—it's not contradiction to love; it's an expression of it. Biblical love means listening before speaking, treating all people with dignity, but also telling the truth when it matters. Don't just pretend to love—really love people by hating what destroys them without hating them. Ask yourself today: Who in my life needs truth spoken in love? What would lead them closer to God—not what makes them comfortable, but what draws them to Him?
